The South Korean State Visit at Emirates Palace was a landmark event, and the Evolutions Site Services team played a crucial role in its success.
With the responsibility of constructing and managing a compound inside Emirates Palace, the team was tasked with creating a comfortable and functional environment for 600 animals and up to 1000 people for three weeks in preparation for the South Korean Presidents visit to the nearby Qasr Al Watan. The Evolutions Site Services team rose to the challenge by constructing various structures such as tents, cabins, toilets, and catering tents, all supplied with power and constantly monitored to ensure full functionality. With the presence of animals in the compound, security was a top priority, and the team installed a sturdy Heras Fencing perimeter. In addition to the construction of the compound, the Site Services team was also responsible for daily site operations such as water and waste management, power, and plant management, including having all plants and vehicles always filled with diesel. With the compound being large, the team also provided a fleet of buggies for easy transportation around the site. At the end of the event, the Site Services team was involved in the de-rig process, ensuring that the grounds of Emirates Palace were left in the same condition as when they arrived. This involved a detailed process of removing all structures from the site, leaving the palace

For the seventh year in a row, Evolution was selected to provide site management & services for the Union Parade, which was held in December during the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi. Evolution’s scope of work for the event included site layout planning, site management, technical solutions, and event logistics. The Union Parade welcomed 7000 participants and 103 families to the venue. We arranged the provision and installation of 52 large majlis tents to accommodate families that took part in the event. The event required custom-built grandstands and adequate rental units on site including VIP cabins & Toilets, Media tents, Performers' tents and F&B facilities, all set up within a secure fenced perimeter. Our provision of police barriers and traffic cones assisted in providing a secure walkway for pedestrians from the car park into the venue's entrance. We provided VIP tents and concealed toilets built into the grandstands. Ablutions BOH for crew & FOH for event visitors were provided from our side. Evolution provided scissor lifts, JCB telehandlers, Cherry pickers and Boom lifts.
Our team also provided full power setup through the venue and on-site technicians made sure show power, site power, F&B and site lights were managed 24/7 in order to lower emissions and drop diesel consumption. Alongside the crew that operated the event, we provided 4x4 mules and buggies for this sandy venue. All site signage for the event, along with firefighting equipment throughout the venue, was provided by our Site Service division. Evolution Site Services delivered the infrastructure for this event, spread over 130,000 square metres, and built in only 52 days. Our team supplied all the primary and secondary power distribution for over 150 outlets and activations, front-of-house toilets and ablution facilities, site transportation and lighting across the venue. All gates were secured by fencing and police barriers were placed to create walkways for pedestrians. Our team supported with queue management for each activation by providing sufficient barriers to create queuing lanes, making sure that visitors were not waiting in line for too long. We ran over 100,000 meters of cable underground across the entire venue. Over 50,000 litres of fuel were used per day to run the site. With a site this big we also provided various options of buggies and electric bikes for use back of house.
One of the main challenges was to provide 50 and 60hz power for international and local suppliers throughout tthe site . This was achieved by providing over 250 primary and secondary distribution boards in conjunction with switchable generators. The Site Services Team also delivered custom ablution units that were placed around the site accommodating guests, VIPs and people of determination. We took care of site transportation, providing a fleet of electric bikes, golf carts and ATVs that were transporting visitors, crew and materials around the site.
Our golf buggies offer an ideal brand immersion opportunity for your guests, as well as being a functional, attractive transport solution for VIPS, staff and crew. You'll love getting your team and supplies around site with these zippy little vehicles. As well as being compact they are reliable, presentable and easy to maintain and operate. Give us a call anytime, we are here to help with all requirements you have. Evolution was selected as the event production and operations agency for the inauguration of the Founders' Memorial on the Corniche in Abu Dhabi. Evolution provided a dedicated team to oversee all the various logistical and operational challenges for the event.
As part of the scope of work, Evolution set up the entire event site infrastructure, provided technical, scenic and site production as well as general project management. The event saw the attendance of approximately 600 VIP and VVIP guests. Evolution was able to determine a practical layout early in the process, using the existing venue layout advantageously to reduce build requirements and costs. Given the sheer scope of the site requirements, it was of key importance to negotiate good rates for the many tents and site service suppliers operating within the site. Site Services was tasked with setting up a large Sheikha’s VIP Majlis structure to accommodate these guests. We looked after crowd control throughout the venue to ensure guests' safety at the event. Our team installed all the site lighting for the event and we supplied the event with branded buggies to take guests from the venue parking to the entrance of the venue. We used scissor lifts, JCB telehandlers, Cherrypickers and Boom lifts that made event setup run like clockwork. |
